What exactly is this going to look like?
Honestly? We're not quite sure. What we do know is that we don't want this to just be another passive Zoom stream. If you've received this invitation, it's because you're very important to us and we want to share our (2nd) most important day with you. We're doing everything we can to make it fun and engaging for everyone!
VIPs Only
As easy as it is to send out a Zoom Meeting ID, we want to keep it to the most important peeps in our lives. That's you!
Virtual Guest Book
Paper guest books are so Pre-Pandemic. We want your selfies and videos. We'll collect everything and share the video with you!
What to Wear
We know, it's weird. But we'd love it if you dressed up with us. Semi-formal would be cool, but meeting attire works just fine.
Celebrate With Us
We really don't know how this is gonna turn out. But we want you to try it with us, if you're up for it!
Some Ground Rules
There will be no toasts and all speeches will be arranged in advance. Also, no rice throwing. (You wouldn't try that over Zoom anyway, right?)
Food & Drinks
It's important that you RSVP ASAP so we can provide food and drinks for you. (Yes, we know we gave you 2.5 weeks notice... #Covid19)
Gifts
Our only request is the gift of your presence. These are challenging times for all of us and it means a lot to have a way to share our special day with you.
That being said, some have inquired about methods of gift-giving. We have two options below.
Monetary Gifts
If you are based in Canada 🇨🇦, you can simply etransfer any monetary gifts to [email protected].
From outside of of Canada 🌎? You can send monetary gifts through the PayPal link below.
Wedding Registry
For those who are unable to send funds, or would prefer to help us get our kitchen started, we have setup a wedding registry via Amazon.
The catch is that it is with Amazon Mexico 🇲🇽. So everything is in Spanish!
